Tidbits From the Past Week

This past week flew by and I didn't seem to get as many pictures as usual. The days go so fast and are so busy keeping everyone entertained, safe and happy. In this picture, Suzie and Chloe appear to be sleeping.

I believe Claire hadn't been awake long when this shot was taken.

Below is a little movie of Chloe preparing to crawl. It definitely won't be long! This week will bring the twins 7 month birthday. It doesn't seem possible.

Chloe and the Camera and Claire at the Party.

It looks as if Chloe jumped in front of the camera several times this week, what a ham! Here is Chloe with Aunt Suzie, Chloe reading a book and Chloe hugging the giraffe.

Here also, is beautiful little Claire, who fell asleep at her first "all girl party" today, a baby shower for a friend. The girls were dressed in little peach sun dresses. Claire just suddenly closed her eyes in her mommy's arms, after being held by several people, and took a little snooze. We watched her carefully so that she didn't roll. Chloe had such fun watching the little kids that were there, often jumping up and down with pleasure at what was going on.

Shots and La Comida!

Claire and Chloe had their scheduled checkup on Friday. Both babies are doing amazingly well, thank goodness. They did have to have shots however, but recovered quite quickly from the shocking stick and prick of the needles. Mike was unable to get away from the nursery so Grandma went along to help. The darling little sun dresses you see here, (Chloe in red and Claire in blue) were a surprise that Mike purchased and brought home to the girls one day this week. I thought they looked so cute.

After the doctor visit the girls both fell asleep in their stroller/car seats. We popped the seats into the car when we arrived home and met Papa at LaComida. It was Claire and Chloe's first visit to the restaurant where our family eats regularly. They were little angels. Here they are asleep, as well as with Paula and Papa.

Twins Rock!! and Playing with the Toys!

This week is flying by, but I have enjoyed two days with Claire and Chloe. Our sweet friend Cheryl brought them "Twins Rock" outfits when she returned from Florida on Monday, and I couldn't wait to put them on and take a picture, (or two...or three...). :) In case you haven't discovered this feature, you can click on the picture and it will enlarge. The more pictures I took, the more Chloe "puffed up her chest" as if to be sure we saw her new outfit.

The girls are, at times, holding their own bottles now and here is Papa with Claire who was, in fact, managing her own drink today.

Papa had fun playing with the toys too... and shortly after this little movie, Chloe put down the little toy that Papa handed her. Claire picked it up and Chloe promptly snatched it back! It amazing to see how they already are aware of what the other baby has, or is doing.

Sunday Celebration

Sunday was a special day for Claire and Chloe. Their Mommy and Daddy are celebrating their 6th wedding anniversary. Here is the beautiful
family just before Mike and Paula took a little time out for a celebration lunch.

While they were away, Claire and Chloe played, ate and slept.

On Saturday, Uncle Jon stopped by for a visit.

Earlier last week Noni came to town to spend the day with Paula and the girls. Here is one of several precious pictures that they snapped.

It appears that the "busy little babies" had a full week!
