Rainy Day, Sleepover, and the Pumpkin Farm!!!

Early in the week, we had some rainy days and we had to create fun in the house. Laundry baskets can make for some fun.....Also making like monkeys and swinging from the counter.

Playing with Papa's shoes....

Selecting books to be read for the umpteenth time..... :):)

Claire and Chloe's Mommy had a girls weekend away with her Mom, sister-in-law, and cousins. A well deserved break for Paula, we hope she had a wonderful time.  Claire and Chloe, along with Aunt Suzie, came to Papa and Grandma's for a sleepover.

We played with puzzles, dolls, color crayons, and watched a video about a little girl named Nehao's Great Trip to China.

The girls ate like lumberjacks....

Took a bath, with Aunt Suzie's help....

They performed a "late night concert"....
And slept very, very well....  The next monring, Claire took an early morning call, she said something about riding motorcycles...but we said, "no way". They ate Mickey Mouse pancakes made by Aunt Suzie and got ready to go to the Pumpkin Farm.

At the Pumpkin Farm, they fed the goats, rode the trains, jumped on the bouncing pad, and rode ponies.

One of the highlights was a helicopter. Chloe, especially, is fascinated by helicopters. They climbed the haystack pyramid for a better look and then Daddy took them closer to get a really good view. They really felt the wind as it took off.

Claire and Chloe ended their day with a final train ride around the farm. One highlight that we didn't get in pictures, was a little hill that the girls ran up and down for the longest time. They giggled and laughed and had such fun, they would run at top speed down the hill and Daddy, Papa, Aunt Suzie or Grandma would catch them at the bottom.  A great time was had by all.
