Twin Interactions

If you have read this blog for a while you know we spend a lot of time singing when we are with the girls. Over the months, Claire was usually the "singer" but lately Chloe has picked up and is giving Claire some competition in the singing activities. The little movies below show segments of a discussion back and forth between the twins about singing. One usually telling the other one to stop. In the midst of the singing discussion, Chloe is taking Claire's hand and saying, "Glad to meet you Claire" before Claire removes her from the table. I hope this love of singing follows them through life, because a little music goes a long way in making a joyful soul. It was so fun this morning in Sunday School to hear Chloe singing right along as they sang "Jesus Loves Me."

A couple of close up pictures of the beautiful little faces this past week.

Chloe is the one that most often cuddles and cares for the dolls, but below I found Claire wrapping her little Amish doll up in the quilt and giving it some love.

Who knew that there are Popsicles that are slow melting and very small in size for toddlers? This Grandma sure didn't, but what a wonderful idea!

In Sunday School, for the most part the girls do their own thing but check on the whereabouts of the other frequently. This morning Claire and Chloe started out at different tables but eventually worked themselves in to being side by side to work on their project. Last week on Monday morning, Claire told me about the poor man that had "owies" on his legs and couldn't walk. It is amazing how much they get out of a story when you aren't sure they are even listening. Also later in the week, when Daddy got home from work, Claire asked him out of the blue if he "bemembered" about the man who couldn't walk. Pretty amazing what they absorb and remember. We had a lovely lunch out after church today where the two year old girls were very patient and well behaved toddlers. The child portions were huge and although they didn't seem to make a dent they did eat some of what was on their plates, using adult utensils.
Twins certainly share lots of things. Here Chloe and Claire chat away while Claire works on being a big girl. Sorry, no privacy here.......

Looking forward to a new week and exploring life with Chloe and Claire. Enjoy your week as well!
